Worship
God seeks those who will worship Him and He has wired us to long for contact with Himself. Our worship services are geared so that we can worship our Lord freely. Our worship services provide an environment that naturally leads to an encounter with God. Our pastor and worship lead team work together with the choir, praise band, and praise team, to lead us into the presence of God each week. Our desire is not merely have a worship service, but an experience with the living Christ. Our informal worship style allows for meaningful fellowship, and practical messages allow us to apply God's Word to our lives.
Fellowship
Fellowship is a by-product of God's people seeking God together. God has wired us to need others. We are not made to struggle through life alone. RHBC understands this, and enjoys a warm and deep love and appreciation, for one another as we serve the Lord together. Your walk with the Lord will be enhanced by the fellowship of God's people at RHBC.
Prayer
Prayer is a vital part of all we do at RHBC. We have prayer chains, a call-in prayer line, weekly prayer meetings, and a prayer email update that allows us to keep up with each other's needs and pray for each other and those needs around us. Our prayer card ministry is known around the country for touching and blessing many. Each week, during prayer meeting, prayer cards are written and sent to specific people who are on our prayer list.
Bible Study
Bible Study for all age groups and all types of needs. There are men only, women only, co-ed and single studies. We have topical and practical studies to help you live a life according to the principles of God's Word. Studies meet on Sundays and various days throughout the week.
Mission Groups
Mission groups are volunteer groups from our church that regularly travel to areas that need specific, short-term assistance and spiritual encouragement. We have sent teams to Mississippi after the hurricane, as well as helped to build churches and camps in Ohio; we have members trained in Disaster Relief, chaplaincy, etc. that can offer immediate help in difficult times. We hold local mission efforts, such as Heuston Woods, partner with churches in New York, have done mission work in Georgia, and helped support a church on an Indian reservation in Montana. Our desire is to be personally involved in missions around the world.
