Rolling Hills is a church that loves to fellowship together. There are opportunities for all ages.
Church-Wide Fellowship Events
Rolling Hills loves to get together and we love to eat. Those two things work well together. We hold several church-wide events that combine the two. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we have a huge potluck holiday dinner. The church provides the turkeys, everyone else brings their favorite dish, two long groaning tables full. It is a great time to bond as a family. To celebrate Father’s Day we get together for a cake bake-off or chili cook-off (the men have to do the baking or cooking).
Senior Adult Fellowship
The senior adults (age 55 and over) get together each month for lunch. They meet at a local restaurant or hold a potluck dinner. They also hold an annual fish-fry. Throughout the year, they will organize trips to sites like the Creation Museum or concerts and play in the area.
Women’s Fellowship
The most popular event for women is the annual Hospitality Dinner held at Christmas. Women beautifully decorate a table then invite friends and family to enjoy a catered dinner. They also can take part in an annual weekend retreat held at the beautiful Lake Seneca campground where they will enjoy fun, crafts, and inspirational teaching.
Men’s Fellowship
There is an annual weekend retreat for men at Lake Seneca. We also hold a quarterly men’s breakfast and Bible study. Our men’s softball team competes with other churches in the area. In 19??, our team was area champion. For golf lovers, men get together annually for a golf scramble.
